(Excerpt)
News for short-term content marketing strategies came from guidance issued by the U.S. Copyright Office. It clarifies what constitutes ownable content – the work must be created by a human (as has always been the case.) Thus, anything authored or created by generative AI tools cannot be protected by copyright laws. So, if you create content using an AI generator, you (or your brand) do not own that creation.

AI will kill copyright.
Even if you cannot legally enforce your copyright, in most cases this has been an illusion for some years. DMCA is about all that you have and that is becoming so abused that the laws will be revisited.

Unless you are an author, poet, screenwriter, recording assist or a movie or video producer --this is really nothing to worry about. Most web 'content' is not that unique or that good anyway IMHO. At what point is a new story just publicly available information?

Social media and government sources are the drivers of most information anyway.
