Can indians promote Adult affiliate programs?

Porn is ban in india and so is any adult stuff, my question is can indians do adult affiliate marketing?
Website with no nude photos or anything but text with dating sites list and all and that too targeting countries like us, au, NZ where it's legal to promote such offers
Please help, any indian here who can give insight on this or anyone who has indian friend promoting adult stuff?

In India, there's no clear information about its legality per se but I want to assure you it is not illegal to do so either. Do you expect some specific laws to be made about what kind of affiliate offers you're allowed to promote and advertise? You just have to follow whatever rules the advertising and affiliate network has for you. You have to pay income tax on the revenue you generate from affiliate network, that's it in my opinion.

Well, I would guess you have to ask if your government permits this. Also, if not, then you wuld have to do it with proxies and very quietly.

The sponsor (of the offer) should GEO ip the ad if they don't want the traffic --unless they are IT idiots
I can GEO ip any ads I place on my servers --but that is somewhat complex for non programmers.
In other words; if you come from an undesired (for the offer) county; you don't even see the ad ...
