Best Organic Traffic Source?

So I have written up my first website/blog, I know it isn't the best and there is a lot of room for improvement, this is why I do not yet want to invest any money. I just want to see whether I can convert with the content that is already on there.
At the moment I am struggling to get traffic.

What is your favourite organic traffic source?

My niche is weight loss and I have a highly converting offer on my blog.

Google is best organic traffic source. Do some SEO and rank your website in Google and traffic will come automatically.

My niche is a very highly competitive one so I don't think I stand a chance of ranking on the first couple of pages for any relevant searches, there are many large websites/brands geared towards it, or at least with sections of their website dedicated to it. Is there any way around this?

If talking about free traffic, I think Social media, Social bookmarking, forums & guest blogging are the most effective.
