This is the worst traffic source experience I've ever had.

I've been doing Native Ads for couple months now and I decided to try another traffic source: @TrafficStars

So I signed up and deposited $100 and I ran traffic to adult offers, but then I wanted to try an Clickbank offer that was working for me on Native Ads. I setup the campaign and it got rejected.

Why? Well because they check the links with virustotal and they assumed that the link is " Malicious "

I decided to try another offer and suddenly I found out that my account got struck with limited access, meaning that I can't advertise on the placements that were working for me.

I reached out to support and she said " We do this for all new advertisers " which is BS because those placements were first enabled right?

When I pushed more, she came clean and said because their system marked my link as malicious and as a result I can't advertise for 1 month on those placements.

The stupidest thing i've ever heard.

Also they don't have any support, only one women out Thailand that sometimes replies.

Today I wanted to give it one last shot with another offer with banner ads and I created 5 - 6 campaign and only one campaign started spending and the other ones didn't start spending which is so weird.

Eventually I got tired of this shit and stopped everything.

Now I asked them to refund me the remaining balance in my account, hopefully they will refund me if they care, will see tommorow when this lady wakes up from support.

Worst traffic source expierence ever.

Ad networks are low quality RTB but are low cost. The name of the game is tremendous volume.
So, if you want to venture (or piss away) what it costs to get 100K */day for a 500K+ total *volume it may work or be a total fail.

The offer matters a lot and how your funnel works.
Post your data and and your analysis here.

Saying something is no good without details doesn't help much ...

Update:

Finally I got a reply that I will get refunded, when I receive the refund I'll update this thread.

Update: 4 Days later

Unbelievable how bad @TrafficStars is, still no response to my refund.
I hope everyone sees this thread before they deposit money into your network.

Stay away everyone.
Hello,
Thank you for such a positive assessment of our work. We have already conveyed your regards to our support team ;)

TrafficStars work with big and sensitive publishers such as xHamster, Pornhub, and other PRIME sources, so we cannot risk and allow all new clients, especially clients who try to promote malicious domains, to promote their ads straight there. In cases like that, we give the advertiser a probation period for 1-2 months of running ads on our RON sources with no alerts. If, during this time, everything is fine, then we open access to all the sources. It's a standard type of cooperation for such businesses.

We are a global company, and our managers work worldwide. There is nothing weird that you receive replies from Thailand. Sometimes we have many income messages, especially on Fridays and Mondays, and you may have a late reply. We are also happy to remind you that we are a self-serve platform, and you can find answers in our kindly prepared articles via this link: https://support.trafficstars.com

BTW, you'll get refunded the amount of 77.39$, as you mentioned above. The ticket is under process now. Thank you.

What is this for BS?

So "Clickbank domains are malicious"?

It is ridiculous that you trust virustotal 100% and don't take a second look at the link before restricting the placements on my account.

Clickbank is a very popular affiliate network and everyone knows that.

And when I asked why those placements are suddenly restricted, your affiliate manager straight up lied to me and said that you do this for all new advertisers, which is not the case.

As for the support, I don't mind talking to someone from Thailand, but if they reply just once a day and then leave after they replied to me, that is just unacceptable.

Then I have to wait another day before they reply again.

If there is an issue, there is literally no support. Just one person out Thailand that replies whenever she want.

Anyway there is more I want to say, but I leave it at that.

I just got my refund and I still don't recommend this network to ANYONE.

No need to reply to this message.

Goodbye

Now I see. No point in throwing good money after bad.
No customer wants to hear we will well sell you all of our RTB and other trash traffic RON --your money is good but you are on probation --WTF?
At least they did refund what balance remained.
Yep exactly, after they restricted my account for those placements, there is no reason to continue to use their platform.

Frustrations like these are unfortunate but not uncommon in the world of digital marketing. I wish you the best of luck in finding a traffic source that suits your needs and helps you achieve success with your campaigns. Stay persistent and keep seeking out opportunities that align with your goals!

I have seen similar stories an abundance of times about traffic networks that sell high volume traffic for cheap prices. The thing is, every traffic source and every affiliate network have a small number of individuals that end up having issues like you have had WBSS. I remember your first post claiming to have unlimited Google accounts. Well, that is Blackhat and it tends to make me think you are employing other Blackhat measures that have contributed to causing issues like you are encountering.

I'm not debating whether you are right or wrong in this particular matter, but TrafficStars serves over 5 billion impressions a day and you do not get that large and successful by simply and intentionally bothering to screw over a purchaser of a very small volume of their traffic. I personally know 3 people spending over $1k a day with them for the past year without the issues you encountered.

Lots of noise over such a small sum of money. I piss that much away on a lavish lunch at least once a week.
