Best Affiliates for Noobs?

Hello from New Jersey! I've read through a lot of the stickies, and here's my question, which I thought would be obvious, but haven't seem to found...

I already have 3 niche sites built, each with Adsense. I'm looking to go past Adsense into affliates. (I'm not really getting a lot of hits or Adsense commissions yet)

What would anyone recommend as the best affiliates for a Noob?

One of my sites is sort of an AJAX (mostly javascript) programming tutorial... would that go best with a book-centric affiliate like Amazon?

Another one of my sites is about classic Hot rods... would CJ be good for that? (but since I'm not getting much traffic yet, am I too early for CJ?)

What others would anyone suggest? Thanks in advance.

Have you checked out Clickbank? You might want to add some ebooks on your niche to your site.

Concentrate on SEO to generate traffic to your site

In reference to the programming site, for that niche I would use Clickbank without a doubt they will be your best source of monetization.

have you considered affiliate networks? There are a lot of programs to choose from when you join them.

I like Clickbank and Commission junction. But, it is also a good idea to do a search for affiliates in your market.
