assuming hot-linking is allowed:

They also have product codes, listing codes, etc., available in their associates/affiliates suites.

Are you an approved Amazon Affiliate or Amazon Associate?
 
I know since amazon changes their TOS, you can't use their images (even if you downloaded it), so you have three choices :
- buy the product and take photos of it
- using their apis (require account validated with minimum of 3 orders in the last 180 days)
- using smart solutions like Lasso for Wordpress (like 15$ a month) or LeSecteur's Amazon images extractors (free and without registering requirements) : all images are compliant to the TOS of Amazon
 
To add Amazon product images to your site, use the Amazon Associates Program (Affiliate Program). Once you sign up for the program, you will have access to unique affiliate links to Amazon products. You can then use these links to display product images on your site
