Knowing the audience comes first rather than building a landing page. When you find the right target, so you get to know their behaviors, needs, and desires, you will be prepared to create the landing page straight away.

Set a specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and based on time objective in which you will focus the strategy. Establish which conversion goals will fit best according to the sales funnel stages your landing page was designed for.

I Don't know all tips but I know this I think its help you

URL building with your landing page

Lastly, don’t forget your URL. An over-complicated or confusing URL will detract from the quality and trust that a viewer has in your page. If someone thinks your URL looks like spam they’re unlikely to complete your CTA. This is particularly important if you are using subdomains hosted by third parties.

Its a really good point
I have bought stuff from Amazon on the strength of UGC (product images)
UGC images always look different to the sanitzed product shoot images
Seeing real people using the product makes huge difference
Question is, how many people leave UGC images/videos?

Yes domain and URL string is very important

Good example here, with 6 rules
https:// www.adidas.ca/en/release-dates
  1. Obviously use SSL
  2. When brand in meta title is cut off, domain is the only reference to the brand
  3. Domain extension shows the country (if geo, not generic)
  4. URL keywords (separate with hyphens) gives very good indicator about content
  5. Some even show the language (EN,FR,IT,ES,DE)
  6. Should be all lower case, using only dropcase letters and numbers
Since its only sneaker release dates, I think Adidas should include keyword "sneaker"
/release-dates becomes /sneaker-release-dates

Additional optimization
  • Add year 2021 at the suffix
  • Add country at the prefix
Unmistakable what pages is about for user and search engine
