Maybe every app developer knows app store optimization can be done through optimizing the app title, icon, screenshot, keywords, reviews and ratings, and so on. But the details of it they might not know. Let me share some methods about how to do ASO better.

1. Title
A good app title can not only help to attract users attention, it can gain market in ASO. choose a right name and put the core keywords in the subtitle. You also should introduce the function of your app. And if the words appear in the keywords, you should not put it in the app title.

2. Icon and Screenshot
This is not useful for search optimization, but it is useful for the conversion rate of download. Beautiful or cool icon absolutely attract more users to download the app, so does the screenshot of your app. So make a well-designed icon and some screenshots.

3. Keywords
This is the most important part, you should stand in the users' position, think what do they input when they search an app. And also find some hot words, analyze your competitors' hot words, and then build your own hot word bank. You do not need to use comma to separate the hot words, that is a waste character behavior.

4. Downloads
Download will influence you app ranking, if the app's download is very few, you can find some useless keywords and delete it, and keep the hot words. Also you can get more app installs from real users, there are some companies can provide this service.

5. Reviews and Ratings
Like downloads, this is also an important part, data show that 70% users download an app after see the reviews, the higher rating your app get, the more download you can get. Find your friends and relatives' help to write some positive reviews for you, or find some reliable companies to buy some app reviews from real users.

6. Description
This is also not useful for search optimization, but when a user consider if download this app or not, they will have a look at the description of you app, so make the description with an attractive copywriting.
