Questions about SEO???

It's easy to do IF you pick the right keyword (long tail).................find one under 10,000 results.....write some articles.........do a squidoo page.........be sure and use the keyword in it several times. The lower the results numbers, the better chance you have to make the first page.

Hope that helps!:)

All the best!

Do you have a good internal link structure on your site?

Internal Link Building is when you link back to your own home page within your site?s content with the keywords you are targeting and want to rank for in the anchor text on EACH page of your site.

Deep Link - Internal Link Building is the same concept except you link back to sub pages on your website (deep pages) with respective keywords as the anchor text.

By the way, this works best when the links are within content, not links just added to a page, this way they are natural and look better. One exception to this rule is the footer link with your best home page keyword in the anchor, this should be a standard practice.

Optimize your site

Search engine optimization includes both on page and off page optimization. With on page optimization you can get maximum results. Try updating your page and enhancing the outlook of your site. Unique and quality content is what the search engines look out for, so update your site content. Increasing the number of back links can also improve your site position. Instead of using highly competitive keywords, concentrate on the ones that have a high search volume and less competition.

Yes, age of the website matter. It won't happen overnight.

You may be discouraged, but don't. Amazon.com never did actually worked on SEO :). If you know your target market and know what they expect, your service is useful and helpful, it will find its place in the market.

Great advices. It would really help me, I also have difficulty in positioning my website to a top ten rank since it is about Real Estate.. more advices please.. .:(

Edwin is 100 % right. That was the whole purpose of LSI being implimented. to stop the keyword stuffing wars with marketers and to make a wedpage more natural for the surfer.

Write for the visitor and you will be ok, make sure your titles are on target and get some quality links.

Remember, 20 % onpage and 80% links. So, if this is the general rule, what small percentage could density account for anyway? We know that the title carries the most weight with onpage, then h tags, so how much could keyword density count for?

The fact of the matter is that you can have all of your onpage wrong and still get top placements with proper anchor text and quality link. I know i sound like a broken record with this, but "click here" in not on the adobe site anywhere and it ranks # 1 for it in Google.

G.W.Bush used to rank # 1 for "miserable failure" and many claim that Google stopped this but the fact is that the whitehouse changed the filename of G.W.'s profile page.

This was the origional URL to the bio that ranked for "miserable failure"
https://www.whitehouse.gov/president/gwbbio.html

Now his bio is located on this page. President of the United States - George W. Bush

Remember, 80 % links.

Thanks for these reply, jcorkern. Really important to understand what counts more. So all the on-page work brings only around 20% result, while 80% counts towards how your position your site in the internet. This helps to know what to pay attention to.

On-page is good factor. if don't get result first time, don't worry, update your Meta Tags and look after your site content so you will get good result easily.

Make your Website Search Engine Friendly

Keyword Research is the first step in any Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Take the time to figure out what words are used by the people you want to visit your site, and then use these words on the relevant page. For example, if a potential customer is searching for ‘class c widgets', you need to make sure the relevant web page on your site contains the words ‘class c widgets'. Make sure you use these keywords in the first few words of your page title (the blue bar at the top of your webpage) because this is the most important bit of the page from a search engines perspective. You should do this for all the pages in your site, but remember don't just stuff the keywords in there; it still needs to make sense to humans!

One of the biggests aspects is getting anchored links from relevent sites. The more links you get, the better your chances. Each link is like a "vote" for your site.
