Wordpress , Using only Pages and not Posts.

I not really sure if I can do what I am thinking,but.......let's say that I make an entire site out of wordpress pages, and not posts.Is this defeating the nature of wordpress- will a site made of pages be difficult to maintain? do plugins run on pages just as they do posts? Any thoughts appreciated.

wordpress is not only a good blogging script but an excellt CMS. use it!.. you can still maintain it the same way you would posts and as far as plug ins i am pretty sure most if not all work the same

When I want a site (and not a date based blog) I use wordpress with only pages (and children of pages).

Works great.
