WordPress blogs incoming links

WordPress replaced Technocrati with Google blog search for counting incoming links to your blog. I just discovered that that only incoming link from withing a blog post and not link from blogroll is counted as incoming links by G.

I was really suprised when i recognised that Technorati was replaced, since that widget worked very well in my opinion, and i suppose wordpress is direct competitor of blogspot, so it is a bit silly thing for me.

I liked the Technocrati version much better than the current one. So is the current one powered by blogspot or Google? (well I know Google own blogspot)

I think blogsearch must belong to Google, but as you wrote blogspot belongs to Google. Maybe WordPress is the next target? I doupt that since i don't know any free script which would have been released by G.

If you take a look at many sites that even pay u for blogging you will notice they have technorati as one of their ways to select/reject your blog
