Hi. I have a problem with my computer. Every time I turn it on, the windows script host box appears (during startup). It says "Cannot find script file C:\WINDOWS\auto.vbs". What does it mean? How can I remove it? Thank you.
Have you tried to update your windows xp version?? maybe thats the problem or you can do a system restore and restore your files to an earlier date when everything was fine and dandy. Or you can reinstall windows xp if you still have the cd with you.
Are you using the computer in your office? or It is a laptop so that when you are out of office, the script box pops up? it appeared that an auto script checked box was clicked inside your network settings. To remove it, click on start -> control panel ->internet options -> connections. On the LAN settings pop up box make sure the automatic configuration checked box was off. Press ok afterwards. It should able to fix the problem then.
