Micro-Star International has announced its competitor to Asustek’s Eee PC, the Wind series of ultra-mobile notebooks. Like the Eee PC, these series will deliver a resolution up to 1024x600 and will have a pre-installed copy of Windows XP.
Even if it is a low-cost notebook, this will have a 80GB hard-disk drive and other extra goodies that are not present in this area.
The cost seems to be a little higher than the average, situated somewhere around $470 and $1099. For this price, MSI must bring a lots of improvements to its products, or its direct competitor will have win the battle only by its price.
