Why Do People Sell Solo Ads?

If they have a list and they could promote any affiliate products they want, why would they wanna sell their clicks for 0.5? Couldnt they promote the products themselves?

If their sites are worthwhile they can get a lot more than than ad networks will pay. But they usually sell CPM because there is no realistic PPC/CPC accounting available that is from a neutral arbitrator that can be trusted by both the buyer and the seller.

This ad business is always in the final analysis; EPC (earnings per click) for the buyer of ads or in a seller's case -- EPM (earnings per 1000 impressions). That is all that matters in the end game ;)

Webmasters that sell ads will settle for a sure thing -- a steady payout.

A solo ad is a type of paid advertisement that is used to drive targeted traffic to a product or service using email traffic.

It can be a great bootstrapping method (or even as a main income*) for your online business and it’s another income source to add in your sources of income.

You could start selling solo ads even without a website or anything really (more on that later). At this point you may be wondering….what’s the catch?

Well, the catch is that selling solo ads regularly (some people sell them daily) can be “demanding” both on you (in terms of time) and your list building efforts (you get more than average people unsubscribing from your list if you mail the solo ads daily).

I also never got to know this!!!
Maybe they do run campaigns for their products, or other people products. and when they are not doing that, they sell ads.

I hope one of Solo-Ads here describe to us a Typical Work day :p
