Which affiliate networks?

Hi,

My company is thinking about signing up with an affiliate network. We are not staffed for doing it in house at this point. Pepperjam and Logical Media are two we are looking into but when looking for networks there are so many that it's a bit overwhelming and many of them don't really seem to be very legitimate for either the affiliates or merchants. Can anyone direct me to a couple of good networks? We are hoping to find a network that actively recruits affiliates, and is trusted and user friendly for both sides.

Thank you,

Reine

Hi Reine,

My recommendation would depend somewhat on the type of program you have.

If you have a CPA offer I can highly recommend Ad Valiant. Super high integrity and very pro-active as far as supporting affiliates. They are a client so if you are looking for a CPA network as opposed to an affiliate network, I'm happy to give you an introduction.

If you sell retail products and need a regular affiliate network - Shareasale is the most well respected by affiliates and the only one you never hear any complaints about. That's saying a lot in this industry. It's really hard and very rare in our for a network to be able to please everyone, but SAS I think has the best reputation and is also the lowest cost of the top 4 or 5.

Thanks Linda. Ad Valiant seems like much more than we need at this point. We offer options trading strategies via newsletter subscriptions as well as a packaged book/dvd set. We are going to be offering a few downloadable products soon along the same lines. We are in the middle of revamping our Options Success website and are just looking into affiliate marketing. Do you have any thoughts on the two I mentioned previously?

thanks for your help...this type of marketing is all new to me!
