I am new to CPA, i need to get off the SEO train, can some one please advise me where is my starting point in the DOJO. what should i do first... How to get started, how much cash do i need etc

All depend on what level of experience are you. If you work already as an affiliate than you know is good to have domain name and your own hosting plan. Later, when start with CPA invest in some knowledge, learn about it, about promo ways. Read some case study because it's great way to learn on other people mistake and to get some idea what to do and where to start.
Learn about PPV cause is great way to start promote CPA if you have some budget and as well Facebook PPC/CPM.
