What are your plans for the Holidays?

Just wanted to know if anyone has anything interesting planned for the holidays. Besides shopping (on and offline), will you be creating any special dishes or do you have any special traditions you like to do with your family?

I'm developing a penchant for classic Hollywood films and will be watching a lot of old movies on my days off, besides those that air on the TV.

Also, I'm keeping an eye out for any special holiday recipes. Anyone have any favourites they'd like to share?

Hi Maranda,

We have lots of traditional family activities planned like visiting Christmas Card Lane
and a Christmas concert/play that the church puts on every year.
Really fun, can't wait!

Our church will have a candle light service - I won't be able to go to that though unfortunately. However, we'll be making Christmas cookies with holiday music in the background.

I have 3 big Christmas dinner and present opening festivities with different parts of the family today and tomorrow. Just finished getting all the presents wrapped, so just a little cooking left to do and I'm ready.
