That's such a hard question because there are just so many options and what works for someone else may not work for you. Plus when you ask what the most popular products are to market, well those are the ones that are also most competitive, so typically not the best place for newbies to get started.
The key for starters, if you are new to online marketing and don't yet know how to play the game, is to try to find a niche market (not a product) that has some interest and demand but is not too competitive. Then once you find the niche be sure it's something that can be monetized. Determine the types of products people interested in that niche would be interested in buying and be sure there are affiliate programs for those products. Then build a site or blog with content around that niche. (That's just a really short idea of one way to get started with the 1st few steps)

Attention: "role based name" email prefixes such as support, webmaster, info, contact, forum, service, affiliate, admin, traffic, partners, marketing, etc., for our member accounts are not permitted. They are acceptable for a vendor listing, but not for the member email. This is due to bulk email processors scrubbing them for delivery due to extremely high bounce rates. If we discover you signed up with a role based name we will give you only one message to change it. After 3 days your account will be removed if the email is not changed.
