    According to an article on Socialnomics, 2018 is the year that author, Donna Moores, believes "...video becomes the most popular form of online content."

    She also predicts that video traffic will make up approximately 79% of all worldwide internet traffic by 2020. So, if you haven't already, you may want to start incorporating video into your marketing efforts, now.

    The tips in this article are written specifically for YouTube but a trend is a trend, so I imagine that you could use these tips elsewhere, too. But with YT getting the lion's share of traffic, it may be the only video platform you need.

    Glad to see that people are starting to give the necessary credit to video.

    For starters, everyone who produces content has to be aware of this - as audiences are inclining to consume content in the form of video. Hence, video can provide for higher traffic and better engagement.

    In addition, the potential of monetizing video is greater than with typical display banners or affiliate links. Brands are willing to pay higher rates for approaching the right audience in the right context.
