Hi. I usually have a hard time deciding on a username for my social media account. I want it to sound corporate at the same time, attracting traffic. Do you have any tips to help me out?
Most social media sites are going to be better for you to use your real name with. Most people on those sites don't want to interact with a business. They want to interact with a real person. Then you can talk about your business or whatever services you have, but you can build up your reputation as a person.
If you're still stuck on deciding a username, trying googling 'username generator'. Like the others have mentioned, it's a good idea to use a personal name for your social media account.
It really depends on your business. Most of the time, your real name is the best way to go. If you want to remain anonymous, then create a fiction "real name".
Attention: "role based name" email prefixes such as support, webmaster, info, contact, forum, service, affiliate, admin, traffic, partners, marketing, etc., for our member accounts are not permitted. They are acceptable for a vendor listing, but not for the member email. This is due to bulk email processors scrubbing them for delivery due to extremely high bounce rates. Please apply for membership using a personalized email prefix. Something like bob@xxxxx.com.
If we discover you signed up with a role based name we will give you only one message to change it. After 3 days your account will be removed if the email is not changed.
