Tiscali....any good?

Hi everybody

We're currently connecting to the internet via Tesco. It's alright, if a little slow, but we've been offered a package through Tiscali which also includes phone and digital TV for a lot less than all three combined. I'm just wondering what sort of connection Tiscali get. Are they good net wise?

my brother had tiscali - he never had any problem! dont know what others have experienced!

I have been with Tiscali for a few years now and only had a problem once. That was because of a BT line fault.

Tiscali also offer free line rental

I hope I am not going to be a Killjoy but I will not recommend Tiscali nor will a friend of mine who switched from BT to Tiscali but has recently switched back to BT.

But, two previous posters seem to have no problem so perhaps you will have a better experience with them.

I was with Tiscali for a few years, I left their dial up when they started capping me, and foolishly left their broadband when they informed me (wrongly) that they would not be able to give me free calls to the USA in the package. I went with organge, and they are so bad that I am taking them to court to get out of paying my cancelled contract.

NEVER EVER EVER go to Orange broadband.

Tiscali are fine though I only ever had one problem with them, and they soted it out immediately.

Tiscali was fine for me, though when you need support it`s somewhere in India I think. I changed very recently to a Sky package for the price, no other reason.
