Thailand's military-appointed government blocked access to on-line video-sharing Web

Google refused it probably since they lost already some points with censoring Google China.
But I'm kinda "freedom of speech" guy so I don't think Google/YouTube did anything wrong.
On the other hand every country has it's rules and laws so they can do whatever they want to.
I dunno. I'm too liberal to agree with what they did, but I also have respect for anything cultural. So I won't say anything else about this.
The only thing I can say is: is this really is a cultural thing, or breaking the freedom of speech?
