Test running promotional offer for HoneyToon comics 18+ on Facebook Ads, has anyone tried it yet?

I’ve been testing the Honeytoon offer in the US geo for 2 months with a total spend of $700 but only made around $150 back. I’ve tried all three campaign types — Traffic, Lead Generation, and Conversion — but none of them seem to perform well. I’ve also installed pixel and API tracking through RedTrack, but I still can’t figure out why there are no sales.
Even so, I still don’t want to give up.
If anyone has run or is currently running this offer, could you share some experience?”

Yeah, I’ve noticed the same thing—Facebook Marketplace is showing tons of dating-type ads lately. But that doesn’t mean they’re profitable. Meta will run almost anything that passes moderation, even if the advertiser is burning money with a negative ROAS.

On the adult side, tube sites have been flooded with hentai/comic content for years. The fact it’s still everywhere tells me it does convert, but only when the traffic matches the niche. Cold mainstream traffic (FB/IG) is usually the worst-performing source for something this specific.

Most buyers for this kind of offer come from warm or intent-based channels—tube sites, adult networks, pop/redirect, Telegram groups, niche blogs, etc. If your view-to-click or click-to-checkout numbers are weak, it’s probably not tracking. It’s the audience/traffic mismatch.
