McAfee has chosen 50 volunteers to do a work that a lot of us would hate it for sure: they must turn off all their PC’s protection anti-spam and respond to every spam they receive for a hole month.
The security company began in December to search for volunteers, and now the hunting is over. The 30 chosen are from 10 different countries and they’ll describe this experiment in their blogs.
Through this experiment they are trying to show the link between spam and cybercrime, or more specific, how cybercriminals use spam to steal data from users all over the Internet.
