Hello every-one
I am a grey haired newbie just starting to build simple websites for some of my local area new small businesses.

I live in the beautiful but a bit lacking in facilities North West of England in the county of Cumberland, changed by our all knowing politicians to Cumbria.

I am involved as a volunteer in our regeneration needs and Chamber of commerce work and am finding that new start up businesses have very few local website builders/designers, so I am offering my service to them.

In looking around at forums I thought this would be a good place to visit but then found I couldn't see the image verification box to register, this was very quickly fixed by neilrbowen who I emailed and told him of my difficuly "within 5 minutes" it was fixed; thank you Neil.

welcome quintain, nice to have with us. Are you building you first website or have you already got a few websites?

about 4 sites, am I allowed to give their names on this forum?
I return to building them when time permits which is not that often but I enjoy the learning process.
The problem is I only dip in infrequently and almost have to re-learn a lot each time.
