(Question) Email Marketing System

Hey Guys,

I am looking for samples on how to do email marketing.

I discovered a way to get lots of email.

It will be like cold calling. I will call it. "Cold Emailing"

I know that they like a specific product but they don't know.

Do you guys experience this kind of approach?

Should I send them an offer? or build a relationship first?

The second part is hard because I am random guy. Don't you think?

I've only written a few email campaigns for clients but I've always thought that lists were for relationship building. I really don't know if the niche makes a difference but I would think that building a relationship with your subscribers would afford you more long term value. Perhaps you could build up excitement for your offer/product over the course of a few emails/weeks/whatever, so they're ready to buy when you present it to them?
