Power Search Tool - safe?

I downloaded the Power Search Tool 4 where you search for content through the Google search engine that is more targeted. I found out that I had a Trojan on my computer. I have been searching the engine to find out if others had trouble with it. I found out that they may be more than one Power Search Tool out there. However, my version and where I downloaded it, definitely has a Trojan in it and so did others.
The toolbar is great for getting web content. I really did enjoy it. It is a shame that someone puts a virus into it.
My advice is to thoroughly check it out. Scan the exe file for bugs. I see the Google has something similar GGSearch which as been tested and statement bug free. However, I saw the same on the on site for the Power Search Tool, that is was bug free.

i don't think it safe!because when i downloaded it had Trojan in it!!!Be AWARE!
