pop traffic feels misunderstood more than “dead.” a lot of buyers test it with weak segmentation and then blame the source itself. in some geos pop still scales extremely well because user behavior is different and competition isn’t as over-optimized as on mainstream channels. also feels like pop performs best when buyers keep funnels extremely simple instead of overbuilding the flow.
