I am having performance issue with my machine.I found a solution at following link.

is that fine if I apply this solution on my machine ?

If you don't use file sharing with other machines it might be worth a try.

I have a good configuration machine, 2 GB RAM, Intel CPU etc.
Well I applied some tweaks mentioned at -

Windows XP machine booting slow - Web Hosting India - Dedicated Hosting - VPS Hosting

and that resolved my serious problem
