Offering a free gift after form submitted?

I read an article about a super affiliate/publishers; who offered something free after a form was submitted, and the offer was not on the affiliate web server, but on the advertiser web server. Instead of the advertiser?s thank you page ? it was re-directed to a free gift page on the publisher?s web server. I don?t want to purchase his e-book to learn how to do this if it super simple. Is anyone in this forum doing this successfully; if you are can you please share the technique. I assume it is iframe, scripting or a combo of the two. He claims he makes thousands per day with this technique.

If I am following you the answer is simple. If you use a service like Aweber or GetResponse there is a place in the form setup to redirect the customer to ANY page you want.

I just checked out the 2 companies you referred and I don’t see how any of there services will accomplish what I stated above. The problem is different web servers; one server where the affiliate/publisher has access and the advertiser sever - the affiliate does not have access to. What you suggested is something that the publisher has total control over, which is easy. From the advertiser landing page the thank you page is unique to each lead or sale generated – so that is the trick. How to send the customer/surfer to a page on the publisher/affiliate web server from the advertiser dynamic unique URL – that is the trick.
