(Most likely) simple paid traffic question

Hey everyone, this is probably a really basic question, I was watching a video on a CPA method using paid traffic from Facebook to promote simple email and zip offers and they said they usually set their CPC to $1.50 to $2 for a North American campaign. Would you not end up up losing money at this cost? He also mentioned that Facebook adjusts your CPC based on your click through ratio. Is that how it may be profitable?

So the more appealing your banner/content will result in a better CTR and then a cheaper CPC if I understand? Could you give me some guidance into what I should use as a daily budget while testing a new campaign?

yeah less then 20$ is good to see the ctr of ur banners
high CTR <=> low CPC

You need to do some testing with small budget first, to see what performs best.
