Hi,

I would like to know what is the average loading time you are working with when creating Mobile Landing Pages.

I know the faster, the better, but what is a normal loading time?

I have designed one which has this metrics in Pingdom:

Thanks

just a piece of statistics real quick:
one second of loading time for landing page, is worth 1/8 % of conversion rate
When I used gtmetrix.com to check it said 1.8 sec.. I think that anything Above 2 secs is bad.

Awesome, I didn't know GTMetrix and it is incredible. The best thing is that if you have some images which could be reduced in terms of weight, it tells you and it provides you with the optimized image.

These are my results:

Thank you very much kerbeross!

To improve you lander loading speed:
- no external Javascript(or no JS at all)
- try to keep the CSS inside the main file in the HEAD section
- don't use images, only CSS OR use ultra-optimized images with low color depth
- keep a simple structure, no frameworks
- use a CDN

Follow this and you'll get landers loading under 100ms. The "no JS at all" is hard, but in-page, short scripts won't affect the loading speed too much.

Pingdom is a good tool to calculate the page load time. As per Google, the landing page load time should never exceed 5 seconds. Every additional fraction of a second can negatively affect your conversion rate.
