Been testing a simple way to get targeted users from Instagram without running ads.
Instead of building pages from scratch, I started pulling users from posts that already have engagement.
Here’s what I’m doing:
1. Find active posts
Mostly from:
- competitors
- niche hashtags
I avoid viral posts, smaller engaged posts seem better.
2. Extract users
Mainly:
- commenters (best quality so far)
- likers
Commenters convert way better in my tests.
3. Clean the list
Removing:
- fake accounts
- no profile / no activity
4. Outreach / engagement
Still testing different angles:
- soft engagement first
- then DM
- or redirecting to funnel
One thing I noticed:
Newer posts → better response rates.
Still early stage but looks promising compared to cold traffic.
