Maximizing LinkedIn for Internet Marketing

I'm sure you have heard about LinkedIn. Most likely, some of you already have accounts there. Nevertheless, do you have tips on how I can maximize LinkedIn for internet marketing?

Just connect with everyone you work with, connect with any vendors you may meet with. It's a fantastic network to look for jobs, much better than Monster.com.

the only thing I can how useful linkedin is when I join some groups which discusses related topics to my niche. I have somehow promote my link there and instantly saw the rise of traffic. this however may depend to how many members in the group. I like the local groups though.
