Launched my first product on WarriorPlus — struggling to find serious affiliates, anyone been through this?

So I recently launched a software product on WarriorPlus and honestly the launch went okay considering I had zero affiliate relationships going in. Made some sales, got decent feedback from buyers, but the affiliate side was a total letdown.

I reached out to maybe 30-40 affiliates before launch. Got a handful of replies, most of them asking for review copies and then going completely silent. A couple said they'd mail and never did.

I'm curious — for those of you who've successfully launched on W+, how did you actually find affiliates who follow through? Not just the ones who collect a review copy and ghost you.

Did you have an existing relationship with them before asking? Did you do a JV contest? Was there a specific place or forum that actually worked for finding reliable partners?

That’s pretty normal for a first launch most affiliates won’t promote someone they don’t know it usually works better if you build some connection first — buy their product or promote one of their launches, once they see you can bring sales too, they’re much more likely to support you

Classic W+ experience. The “send me a review copy” crowd is mostly freebie hunters — they have no traffic and no intention of promoting, they just want the product.
The affiliates who actually follow through almost always have one thing in common: they already know you before the launch, or they’ve seen your offer convert for someone else first. Cold outreach to random W+ affiliates with no prior relationship rarely works unless your EPC data is already proven.
A few things that actually move the needle: get one or two affiliates with a real list to mail early, even at a lower commission, just to get some EPC data on the board. Once you have a real EPC number, the better affiliates pay attention. JV contests help too, but only if the prize is worth their time and the offer actually converts.
What’s the product niche and what’s the current EPC looking like?
