Keep Previous Customers Happy

We want unique visitors to convert. Either by buying your product, or your
services. Or signing up for your opt-in newsletter - or whatever your aim is.

So we tend to market to new customers. This is cool, but we also need to
keep our services and our content fresh and relevant for existing people and
not just for the return customers (I mean visitors :)

If you do this, your returning people will trust you much more, bookmark you,
and tell their friends.

That's probably because you didn't clearly stated the contractual obligations.
 
Oh but I did ( actually not me, but the marketing manager ), it's just that sometime clients do not know where to stop. You have to draw a line at a certain point and that may make them unhappy.
 
I had many happy customers who came back and even brought me some more new business. I usually try to negotiate all sides of the deal ahead of time so customer knows exactly what he is paying for. If there is something minor - I can do it for free to keep them happy, but any major changes or additions would require extra payments...
