Have you tried picmonkey? I use it a lot. It's free, too. You'd have to save each variation, so make sure you keep a copy of the original image but they have several options to change the look of an image.
There is also a tool inside the Dojo that will give you multiple banner looks, all at once, or pretty much so. You can get many multiple versions of an image. This tool is also free for Dojo members.
