If you are looking to buy a Windows powered machine, I'd recommend something from the Lenovo ThinkPad series.
I worked in computer sales / service, then as a LAN admin in a high school with over 200 computer (various brands), and I can tell from experience, that ThinkPads were alyway, by far, the most reliable. If you believe me or not, but not even one broke in the 10 years I've dealt with computers - they just got old and needed to be replaced.

Attention: "role based name" email prefixes such as support, webmaster, info, contact, forum, service, affiliate, admin, traffic, partners, marketing, etc., for our member accounts are not permitted. They are acceptable for a vendor listing, but not for the member email. This is due to bulk email processors scrubbing them for delivery due to extremely high bounce rates. If we discover you signed up with a role based name we will give you only one message to change it. After 3 days your account will be removed if the email is not changed.
