Impact of the Holiday crunch on Affiliate Network Servers

After visiting Linkshare and Commission Junction, 2 of the big 3 Affiliate networks. CJ's servers seem to be holding up well with traffic received because of the holidays and Linkshare's servers seem to be straining as it is hard to log onto their site and even access their site at all at times today. It seems as if Linkshare didnt prepare themselves very well for all the Affiliates and Advertisers that will be coming to the site to prepare themselves for their own holiday rushes

Well not sure it's the Holiday's necessarily. Both sites are hard to access or down at times for a variety of reasons, even in the dead of summer.

But you're right, now is probably when the most affiliates are on the networks frantically trying to capitalize on the Ho Ho Ho season.

So ho ho hopefully their servers are beefed up and ready for the onslaught.

Things are going well. Still adjusting to the move to California from Denver, but I have a cool job with a good company that is giving me great experience (transitioned from Marketing Manager to SEO Specialist) and still working on my site in the mean time. I'd say all in all, everything is going pretty well
