Hey everyone,

I’m exploring the Indian market for online gambling/casino/sports betting and I’d love to hear from those who have experience in lead generation for high-risk verticals. Specifically, I’m curious about:

  1. Lead Generation Methods
    • What are the most effective ways to generate quality gambling leads in India?
    • Do people focus more on SEO/content, affiliates, or direct paid ads?
  2. Cloaking & Compliance
    • Does cloaking still work for this niche on Google, Facebook, etc.?
    • Any safe funnel structures or best practices you’d recommend to reduce bans?
  3. Ad Networks & Paid Traffic
    • Which ad networks currently allow gambling ads (directly or via cloaking)?
    • Any recommendations for native ads, push ads, or DSPs that perform well in India?
  4. Media Buys
    • What kind of media buying strategies are effective (Propeller, MGID, Taboola, Outbrain, etc.)?
    • Is direct buying from publishers (news portals, regional entertainment sites) a viable option?
  5. Databases & Lead Sources
    • Is anyone here selling opt-in databases for gambling/sports leads in India?
    • Any safe marketplaces or trusted brokers for this?
  6. Best Practices
    • Do you focus on Telegram/WhatsApp groups, influencer collabs, or regional language creatives?
    • Any advice on keeping leads engaged and converting long term?

I’d really appreciate if anyone can share their experience, tips, or even connect me with people who specialize in this vertical. Open to both affiliate partnerships and paid collaborations.

Thanks in advance!

@selvan from what i’ve seen in india, the affiliates that win long-term usually focus less on cloaking tricks and more on diversifying their funnel. push and dsp can definitely work, but the real edge comes from localized angles — vernacular creatives, whatsapp/telegram follow-ups, and building simple trust-driven presells that match the regional mindset.

buying databases tends to deliver short spikes, but fresh live traffic almost always outperforms when you’re looking at ltv. direct publisher deals (news/ent sites) are good if you can negotiate, but dsp buys give you the scale and optimization control to test faster.

we run a self-serve dsp with push, pop, video, and redirect traffic across tier 1–3 including india, pk, bd and ph. happy to share some benchmarks if you’re exploring those geos. dm me in private so we can chat.

I have been contributing this very message hundreds of times here and for years, but so many think (without trying) that they can build funnels without it.

Doing this makes marginal and over generalized campaigns become kick-ass funnels!
