How To Avoid My Emails To Mark As Spam?

If you want to stay out of the spam folder, you guys really need to be testing using seeds accounts. If something goes to the spam folder, then you need to know how to test and figure out what is causing it. This is regardless if your running your own server or using a service.

Typically you are looking at 1 of 3 things that is the cause. 1) Back-end set up: SPF, rDNS, etc... 2) IP/domain reputation: sending domain, sending IP, links, hosting, etc... 3) Content: which can be a host of different things, including the template your using.

It's really isn't rocket science and shouldn't take you 10-20 mins to figure out which area the problem is happening with. Now fixing the problem could take longer and if it is content, it may take longer to identify exactly what it is with in the content. But you can quickly figure out that it's something in the content.

Additionally, you really want to know the domain breakdown of your lists...what domains exists the most / percentages. So you know which domains are the most important to have seeds for.

Learning to do this is far better than just using some general guidelines at to how to hopefully prevent it. Because there is no guarantee that will work.

i use a a third party company called ongage for bulk email marketing.

there software uses hybrid email solutions.

the hybrid solution allows email marketers to seamlessly route emails throuth your own on-premise mta as well throuth esps and smtp relays.

for example, you can flexible route your high engaged recipients to your own on-premise mta and less engaged to other channels. in this way you can easily avoid any ip/domain reputation damage on your preferd channel.
