How Long Do You Think It Would Take To Build Credibility?

Social media can be good for marketers to find customers but first they must earn the trust of their social media connections. For someone to buy something you are promoting or recommend a product you are selling to a friend they must trust you first, right?

So supposing you are starting from zero and want to earn the trust of social media connections/build credibility so you can get them to buy something you are selling or get them to help you promote your site by liking a page or sharing a link you post, how long do you think it would take to earn that trust? A year? Two years?

Building credibility is really long, slow and very difficult process. I think it's individually. Just buying is not credibility, but sharing about your product and company - that's what really matters
