Hi everyone, I'm researching client onboarding in marketing agencies. I'd love to hear about your experiences:

  1. What are the biggest challenges you face during client onboarding?
  2. How does your current onboarding process impact your time management?
  3. Have you noticed any correlation between your onboarding process and client churn rates?
  4. Does a smooth onboarding process affect client retention in your agency?
  5. How do you think onboarding influences the success of your marketing campaigns (e.g., conversion rates)?
  6. What tools or strategies have you found most effective in streamlining your onboarding process?
Your insights would be incredibly valuable. Thanks in advance!

So you are baiting members into a conversation where you intend to provide them with solutions. That is self promoting.

Well, we're trying to figure out how the onboarding process affects marketing agencies as a whole and then go into detail into how a better, optimized system would benefit.

What? Where did I even mention selling anything. As a matter of fact yes, I am in the research team for an up-coming solution, something that is not even ready for the market yet...I am literally asking people what some of their troubles are so we can see if this product is market-ready. It is literally research, please do not bother replying if you can't be of help

Don't get so short tempered and never tell an Admin what, where, or when they can post. I've been here, on this platform, for more than 20 years and have helped many thousands succeed and improve their successes.

This statement you made is what prompted my response. It appears as "bait". That is worded as a "hook" in our business. Angles, hooks, and triggers are the crux of what we do and when we see a vailed angle, hook, or trigger we tend to "ferret" that information out. I was responding with my statement for two reasons.
  1. To draw out a clearer picture of your intent. Whether you were planning to promote, or were structuring response information as research.
  2. To provide you with a clearer means by which to gain interest from our membership.
Legitimate ad agencies is a very small pool of companies and vary in size and value. Throughout the world a large portion of the ad agency industry is well known to be equivalent to the "sweatshops" of the garment industry for their high pressure and excessive demands put upon staff and employees. Members here, and elsewhere (other communities like ours), are sensitive to this as we have talked about the inevitable results we receive as clients when dealing with them. There are some overwhelmingly great agencies out there, but they are not the majority. Most of us really have no need for an ad agency because we can structure our own "freelancer" teams to perform the same tasks.

I'm wondering if you are maybe "sweating the small stuff" with your outlined questions. Onboarding is largely an automated process for the bigger firms and yet a listless effort among the smaller agencies. Recruiting is the largest of challenges for any, and all, of them.

I am in the research team for an up-coming solution

You should have included that information at the beginning. When seeking information from others in his industry, being very upfront with qualifiers for your questions should be a primary inclusion. It provides focus for those from whom you seek the information.

We do have ad agencies in our resource area if the community. Maybe some of them will come by and provide their challenges with you.
