I heard or read somewhere that rpc.pingomatic should be enough and they ping most of the other services.

I've submitted manually in the past... but this isn't exactly an efficient strategy. Plus it's boring and repetitive. Thanks for the links... I'll give some of these a try.

I used to submit manually, if I have to use automatic RSS and Blog submission software, I need to be 100% sure and money back is guarantee. A numbers of automatic RSS and Blog submission software are good but not...

i just do what espmartin does with wordpress. They automatically notify the site update services that I list. No need to pay anything

I am using autopinger.com. I really have no idea what it does software wise, I just know, that it 'inform' their listed blog/web sites, rss feeds and search engines that there is some new content on your site. I tested google after blog posting and before pinging and it didn't find new post - web page. Immediately after my ping google found it without a problem.

Yes. I also use pingomatic. It's a service to update different search engines that your blog has updated.

Some hosts do not allow automatic pings, such as mine!!! I must ping manually and i visit pingomatic.
