How Do You Keep It All Straight?

Little tongue in cheek with the title but when I think of the amount available on the internet to learn...and remember, wow! I have a lot of respect for the people who have been at their respective endeavors for a while and know what they're doing. I'm truly a newbie at being online and learning the tricks of the trade. Just wanted to leave a note saying that I really appreciate those of you who help the new folks, and this is not restricted to any one niche, market or training. I hope that one day I, too, will understand all the "tech-talk" and will be able to help someone like I'm being helped.

Just as an example, I'm looking at the "Trackback" box below and have no idea what it's for or how to use it. I'm always fearful of promoting when I shouldn't and getting chastised if not outright banned. So I don't do it because I'm still building my online community and don't want to jeopardize that.

The trackback is mainly for my use. You don't even need to use it.

It's for alerting someone if I quote and link to their blog post. But you aren't allowed to mention or link to your own site or blog posts here, so no reason to use trackback and it would not work. But thanks for asking.

Little tongue in cheek with the title

With a little tongue in cheek for a response, how could it be so difficult when all over the place we hear people telling us we can set up a six figure income site in ten minutes?

Now, getting my tongue back in place before I bite on it, let me note that those of us who help others with problems are actually in a very real way partially solving that very problem. As you learn, you can help others with what you know and when you do it helps you to remember those concepts.

No matter how much you know, the truth is you will still feel much as you do now except that at some point you realize that you can do the basics for what you want to achieve. You can never learn it all. There are always whole new areas to explore and every day someone invents something new.
