How Did You Get Into Your Niche?

It seems that many successful webmasters who have a background
in marketing know how to find that "great niche" to get into.
But for me, when I started out in web development, I had no
marketing experience at all. I just got into niches I found to
be enjoyable. But now I use SEM to find that high-paying niche.

How did you all get into your current niche(s)?

You can find a perfect high-paying niche but it does not guarantee that YOU will be making money.

You must have enough knowledge about the subject and it should be interesting for you to want learn more...

So many people are jumping on "high-paying" subjects just because it "supposed" to be high-paying, but eventually fail because of lack of knowledge or interest...

I make my money through devising business models that work and then replicating them across the web. Much of my money comes from online/offline marketing stuffs like high quality niche portals that rank for just about anything locally and drive traffic and business to the businesses involved.

1000 businesses paying me £10-30 a month is a lot of money
