High CTR but 0% opt-in rate, what's going on?

Hey everyone! Well, this is what's going on, I've been having a really high CTR via FB ads and am just having the worst opt-in rate on my landing page. I'm promoting a product called "strike first" which is a combatatives program.

My CTR is 10% and this is my funnel flow:
Fb ad ==> Opt-in page (email) ==> Affiliate landing page

Any thoughts on how I should change up my landing page? Does anyone else have experience with promoting products through Facebook?

All help is appreciated!

Hello dude, you should run some tests on that landing page, and see how it performs before running your camimpaign using it! There are some tools out there that could be helpful to you with this.

Obviously, your offer is either bad --or people don't trust you enough to enter their email address.
This is a how long is the string question? Or, which pocket is the coin in? >>>too little information for an accurate answer.
So, as AstroBoss says: use a spy tool >>>and copy a few maybe winners or what the fools with the most money advertised (and lost their asses on :D).

Whats up dude! Yup, I've done just that, split it into two and revamped it with two different headlines. I'm confused how I could test it out before getting traffic to it? What kind of tools do you mean? I've googled but can't find any tools where I could test without sending traffic to them.

Here's a link to my new landing page: us.selfdefensemoves.fun/first-strike-newsletter-signup

definitely you should try paramount to you to look at a good traffic source, and drive traffic to your offer, thyen this traffic as well as your lander, you will test it using a spy tool that could help you out with this, the tools that could be helpful for this could be as spy-tools, like Admobispy, this could be also helpful for you to look at the best traffic source for you to catch the best traffic.

IMO -- it's the landing page
Use HTTPS/(TLS) stress trust and security in a peron's back-of-mind.

In the first few seconds I formed the opinion that it was about BLM, a Socialist Movement or something. *FIRST STRIKE* is a hostility in the opening hours of a war -- like a sneak nuclear attack.

Red and black clenched fists give a hostile and negative mental image for most people. The header image is awful also -- black skull with wings?

to the left;
  • Be secure in knowing you can defend yourself.
  • Don't live in fear of crime or terrorism -- be ready to react!
  • Learn an easy system of self defense.
  • Defend yourself with confidence.
  • Be ready to protect your family and friends when necessary.
  • Disarm and disable any attacker fast.

To the right: lose the clenched fists >>>the rest of the text in the signup box will be your A/B test.

Don't use a black background at least 1/2 of your interested viewers will be women. More women need to understand self defense. Many women always feel threatened on the 'street' Use lighter colors that will be more unisex. Lose the testimonials. 80% of that text will never be read -- lose it. Good book to read: https://www.amazon.com/Laws-Subtraction-Simple-Winning-Everything/dp/0071795618

Don't oversell! Make your point quickly and grab (squeeze) the email address -- that is the goal of your page.

I like new gTLDs -- when they are relevant to the subject but .fun -- how can that be related to self defense?

namesilo.com has .org on sale for $4.99 and .win for $1.89. org is solid sounding -- trustworthy. .win is emotional and semantically related. Why the US sub-domain? I don't trust your name: 'moves' seems scammy to me.

You have to appeal to emotion here --fear and how to overcome it and win the day if assaulted. That's what your touch point is -- freedom to be out-and-about without fear.

I really appreciate all the feedback and tips @Graybeard!

You could try some tool to check and study what your cometitors did and the effect of their online adverstising strategy. In this way you could save your time and test cost.
