Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm originally from Rhode Island, so the climate and environment were quite a big change for me as well.

However, you learn to love it. Yes, it's HOT in the summer, but the other 8 months of the year are absolutely beautiful!

That's kind of what we say about living here in Upper Michigan: Yes, the winters are harsh, but the other 2 months of the year are beautiful! LOL
