My name is Robin, a resident of the island of Barbados.
I'm a business development services consultant and my company is NY-registered E-Fortune Venture Group, which I manage via the web from here in the Caribbean.
I've recently embarked on a new Social Media Marketing venture, which seeks to put a "local" spin on the foundation social media model inherent in the pioneering sites like Facebook, YouTube, MySpace, Twitter et al. However, I now need to drive awareness and adoption of the service by both small businesses and consumers, so I am seeking to leverage affiliate marketing to accomplish this. It is my belief that the focus of my venture, "optimized" and "localized" social networking, lends itself naturally to the fundamental nature of affiliate marketing, being "relational".
Having never implemented or managed an affiliate program before now, however, I am here seeking advice on what I have singlehandedly setup in this regard and am trying to find out, if there are affiliate specialists out there, who will manage a new program on a profit share basis (including recruitment), if of course they deem the program and its underlying product/service to be a viable and lucrative one.
