Could it be the universe is a graveyard
containing the remains of a billion civilizations
all the remains spread out in the galaxies
so the greatest technologies
that we discover in 1,000 years (if we still here)
have already been discovered
by dead civilizations from the past
and when our human earth civilization dies
1 billion years later another will be born
100 billion miles away
starting with the planktons
& then dinosaurs & cavepeople
or maybe some other life cycle
dependent on the climate of that planet
and it goes on and on and on
more civilizations
more death of civilizations
more graveyards
never stops
but none of the civilizations are connected
so theory cannot be proved or disproved
until a civilization finds a graveyard in space
maybe they already have
but the civilization who discovered it
is now dead
